The print() function

  • The function name (print in this case) along with the parentheses and argument(s), forms the function invocation.

print("Hello, World!")

It prints/displays whatever you write inside the pair of braces ‘( )’

  • Some Important python parameters that can be used in print()
    • end=” “:- it specifies what to print at the end of the print statement
    • sep=” any character”:- specifies the separator between the outputted arguments

What is Indentation?

  • Indentation refers to the spaces at the beginning of a code line.
  • Where in other programming languages the indentation in code is for readability only, the indentation in Python is very important.
  • Python uses indentation to indicate a block of code and this indentation space is up to the programmer specified {defalut it is 4 spaces or 1 tab }
